DAY 1 - Arrival in Ulaanbaatar
Above Russia, the day arrives suddenly. The aircraft tore the azure ... Bombarded by insistent onslaught of rising, the gold mirror Baikal explodes under our wings. The blazing rays ricochet to the clouds. The altimeter down. locked train, plane now teases endless peaks. In this ocean of greenery, a few furtive yurts seem like lost drifting rafts. Landing in Ulaanbaatar. Overnight at Bayangol or equivalent hotel.
DAY 2 - Oulan Bator - Khishig Undur - 270 km
The hearty breakfast is swallowed with the thoughts embedded in the steppes. Everyone jumps up ... Consideration of vehicles. Right out of the capital, we are already engulfed in grassy areas. The first hundred kilometers march slowly on a sometimes broken tar tape and tricky. The adjoining meadow seems more welcoming, but beware sneaky ravines abound there. Mistrust ! Overnight camping.
DAY 3 - Khishig Undur - Hayrhan - 215 km
We approach the Arkhangai province. The mountain devours the plain gradually. The altitude increases in the more rugged landscapes. Overnight camping.
DAY 4 - Hayrhan - Khorgo - 240 km
A line of volcanoes some reaching more than two thousand meters announced our arrival in the reserve Khorgo. The village is nestled in the Khangai Mountains. The route jumped on meandering rivers with crystal clear water and fish, encrusted on the basalt walls, bypasses a lava flow. dream accommodation on the banks of the Grand Lac Blanc. All lit up over the surrounding landscape floats in an unreal clarity ... From the top of the adjacent mountain, the show is magical. The setting enhances colors of a crater with sharp lips, and ignites the ripples of the lake to the horizon. Above its waters rich in salmon and pike Siberia, the colonies of wild geese and swans begin a last ballet. Overnight in yurts.
DAY 5 - Khorgo - Tsenkeriin - 250 km
Birds chirping. The day begins. Chimneys of our houses of felt and wood smoke slowly. The view is stunning. Each lunch in silence with eyes inlaid in this powerful nature. These images will remain anchored. After a few steps on the flanks of the volcano to the slopes dotted with caves and grottoes, and mystical place high in the region, a new vertiginous step ahead ... The route elbowing between mountains whose streams feed many fords and in tough crossing. Overnight in yurts.
DAY 6 - Tsenkeriin - Tsenkeriin - Relaxation and tour around 60 km
Day dedicated to the review of material at rest and explore the area. yak herders settled in the lost valleys. horseback, nomads engage us for some friendly competition. The flowers lining the idyllic hills. Hot springs bubble behind our yurts. In the cool of the evening, the pool smoke, and after dinner, the evening continues with a long restful and relaxing bath. DAY 7 - Tsenkeriin - Kharakorum - 190 km
We concur the ancient capital of the empire of Genghis Khan. Overnight in yurts.
DAY 8 - Kharakorum - Zagal - 110 km
The Orkhon Valley breaks into deep faults. The route follows the winding course of this turbulent river. Overnight in yurts.
DAY 9 - Zagal - Ulan Bator - 280 km
Turning a last hill, the capital suddenly arises. Overnight at Bayangol or equivalent hotel.
DAY 10 - Ulaanbaatar
Free day ... Transfer to the airport. Fly to Europe.

- Lip stick

- A cap rain gear to keep morale in thunderstorms
- Spare gloves perky leave after the rain
- A sugar at the bottom of a pocket (the saving bar)

When you are dressed for riding, it should stay that little thing in your bag (no suitcases but a duffle bag, gym bag or backpack without frame).
