GOLFO ARANCI – PALAU KM 250

We will disembark in the morning and we’ll drive towards the South, through the internal and the

characteristic roads of the island to reach the coast along one of the most beautiful roads of eastern

Sardinia, the SS125 Budoni, San Teodoro, Porto San Paolo, and then we’ll return in the afternoon to

Palau with its crystal blue waters.

30th MAY.

PALAU – S.TERESA DI GALLURA – PALAU KM 140

From Palau we will discover the north of the island, coasting along the sea and heading towards the

Smeralda Coast, which owes its name to the particular color of the sea and the color variations of

the transparent waters that penetrate into a maze of granite rocks, creating enchanting landscapes.

A tour visit to Nuraghe La Prisgiona, a well-preserved archaeological site, Porto Cervo a centre of

the island\’s good life, founded by Prince Aga Khan and Santa Teresa di Gallura, surrounded by

granite with a view of Corsica, from which it is separated only by the tumultuous Bocche di

Bonifacio, which will be visited over the next few days.

31st MAY.

PALAU -ALGHERO – BADESI KM 240

It\’s the season of the wild broom which scents the air and which will accompany us to Alghero, and

then to Stintino, the northernmost point of Sardinia, uncontaminated beaches, the Pelosa tower, the

Asinara in the background…

BADESI – BONIFACIO – CORTE KM 250

We’ll head to Corsica.

In the morning, we’ll be sailing across the Strait of Bonifacio to arrive on the French mainland.

After disembarking in Bonifacio we’ll head towards the capital Ajaccio, a populous city on the west

coast, and we’ll immediately have our first glimpse of the Corsican roads.

In the itinerary, which leads from Ajaccio to Corte, along the road that crosses the wonderful

Vizzavona Forest, you will find many panoramic viewpoints equipped for picnics, from which you

can enjoy a splendid view of the surrounding mountains.

03rd JUNE.

CORTE – BASTIA KM 300

The route that will take us from Corte to Porto, in the famous stretch of the Restonica Gorge, is

remarkable for its magnificence of nature. We will cross a forest of centuries-old pines that stand

out as far as the eye can see, so high that they seem to touch the sky, like a cathedral whose

immense columns spring from the damp undergrowth.

We will head north, passing Porto, to coast and encounter the cliffs up to 400 meters high

overlooking the sea known as LE CALANCHE. We will then face a fantastic coastal road which

will take us to ILE ROUSSE, and then to Bastia.
